The Wijaya Kumaratunga Memorial Hospital in Seeduwa, under the Ministry of Health & Mass Media, has announced vacancies for the following positions:
01. Management Assistant
Educational Qualifications
G.C.E. (Ordinary Level): Must have passed 06 subjects at one sitting, including Credit passes for four subjects: Sinhala / Tamil / English and Mathematics.
G.C.E. (Advanced Level): Must have passed all subjects at one sitting (excluding the General paper). Alternatively, passing three subjects under the old syllabus at one sitting is sufficient.
Additional: Computer literacy is considered an added qualification.
Age & Salary
Age: Must be below 30 years.
Salary Scale: Rs. 60,420 – 10×670 – 11×790 – 10×1260 – 10×1490 – 103,310 (Monthly).
02. Pharmacist
Educational Qualifications
Registration: Must be registered with the Medical Council of Sri Lanka as a Pharmacist.
Experience: Previous experience in a government hospital, an institution under the Ministry of Health & Mass Media, or a recognized private institution is an added qualification.
Age & Salary
Age: Must be below 45 years.
Salary Scale: Rs. 67,470 – 10×1000 – 11×1490 – 10×1650 – 10×1690 – 127,260 (Monthly).
03. Cook
Educational Qualifications :
Should have pass six (6) subjects with credit passes for two (2) subjects at the G.C.E. (ordinary Level) Examination not more than two (2) sittings.
Professional Qualification:
Possession of the National Vocational Qualification Certificate issued by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission at a lower than level 02 or 03 (NVQ 02/ NVQ 03) in relation to the position.
Servis experience in relevant field 04 years is consider in privet or government sector recognized privet Institution for Lage scale cooking.

below 45 years
Salary Scale :
Rs.52,200 – 10×600 – 10×670 – 10×740 – 12×790 – 81,780/- (monthly)
Salaries will be paid during this period as stated in Schedule 02 of Management Services Circular No. 08/2025.
