MANAGER – MARGIN TRADING: INVESTMENT BANKING

DFCC Bank PLC is seeking an experienced professional to oversee and develop its Margin Trading and Capital Market products. This role focuses on driving portfolio growth and maximizing long-term revenue while ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory frameworks within the Sri Lankan capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and operate the Bank’s Margin Trading and Capital Market product suite.

• Implement internal and external systems and processes to support portfolio growth.

• Ensure all operations comply strictly with internal and regulatory guidelines.

• Execute and update required policies while improving relevant IT solutions and systems.

• Maximize long-term revenue opportunities for the Margin Trading business.

• Grow the Capital Markets portfolio to achieve overall targets and increase profitability.

• Contribute to the development of future Capital Market products.

Requirements

• Education: A degree or full professional qualification, preferably in Finance, Marketing, or Banking.

• Experience: A minimum of 3–4 years in credit management.

• Specialized Knowledge:

  • Exposure to margin trading (highly advantageous).

  • Fair understanding of Capital Market operations, legal frameworks, and SEC guidelines.

  • Knowledge of financial statements and sector-specific economic, regulatory, and financial implications.

• Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills.
