This role requires a visionary clinician to direct the pharmaceutical lifecycle of complex cancer therapies within a high-acuity Canadian hospital setting. You will harmonize advanced clinical oversight with strategic operational management to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based oncology care.

  • By spearheading the design and implementation of hazardous drug handling protocols, you will ensure total compliance with NAPRA standards and provincial regulatory mandates.

  • The successful candidate provides expert clinical consultation to multidisciplinary oncology teams, optimizing personalized treatment plans through rigorous pharmacokinetic monitoring and therapeutic assessment.

  • You are expected to mentor a specialized team of pharmacists and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT).

  • Strategically managing high-cost drug formularies is essential, where you will balance fiscal responsibility with equitable patient access to breakthrough immunotherapies.
