Core Responsibilities
Engage with guests at counters and buffet stations to provide friendly and efficient service.
Record customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen team.
Prepare fresh ingredients by washing, peeling, and cutting various fruits and vegetables.
Manage food portions and professionally wrap items for storage or display.
Carefully package take-out orders to ensure they are secure and ready for transport.
Maintain the presentation and stock levels of refrigerators, salad bars, and display cases.
Support overall kitchen hygiene by organizing workstations and ensuring ingredients are rotated.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 1 to 7 months of practical experience in a kitchen or customer service setting.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based, high-volume environment.
Strong commitment to food safety and personal hygiene standards.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
Ability to follow specific instructions regarding food portions and preparation techniques.
Screening and Eligibility
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must be willing to relocate for this specific position if not currently local.
No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
Working Conditions and Suitability
High level of physical stamina to manage shifts involving standing and manual tasks.
Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
