You should ideally:
possess a minimum of 6 yearsβ relevant experience in banking and auditing
hold a degree in a relevant field or be fully/part qualified in professional certifications such as CA, CIMA, or ACCA demonstrate strong communication skills
have excellent report writing and analytical capabilities
be able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
You will be mainly responsible for:
executing financial audits in line with the approved audit plan and internal audit standards, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of audit evidence
evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, accounting processes, and departmental operations
performing detailed audit procedures on the general ledger, reconciliations (including CEFT and other payment systems), manual entries, and financial reporting processes
identifying control weaknesses, risks, and process gaps, and recommending practical improvements
supporting special audits, investigations, and regulatory reviews as required
continuously updating knowledge on banking regulations, financial reporting standards, and auditing best practices
