FINANCE AUDITOR – INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT – DFCC Bank

You should ideally:

• possess a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in banking and auditing

• hold a degree in a relevant field or be fully/part qualified in professional certifications such as CA, CIMA, or ACCA demonstrate strong communication skills

• have excellent report writing and analytical capabilities

• be able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively

You will be mainly responsible for:

• executing financial audits in line with the approved audit plan and internal audit standards, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of audit evidence

• evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, accounting processes, and departmental operations

• performing detailed audit procedures on the general ledger, reconciliations (including CEFT and other payment systems), manual entries, and financial reporting processes

• identifying control weaknesses, risks, and process gaps, and recommending practical improvements

• supporting special audits, investigations, and regulatory reviews as required

• continuously updating knowledge on banking regulations, financial reporting standards, and auditing best practices
