Test Automation Lead

Job Duties

• Review and analyze system specifications to identify testing requirements and potential quality risks.

• Collaborate with the application development team to design comprehensive test strategies and plans.

• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality against defined specifications.

• Evaluate product code to ensure alignment with technical requirements and architectural standards.

• Create detailed logs to document testing phases, execution results, and identified defects.

• Report bugs and technical errors to development teams using established tracking systems.

• Troubleshoot complex system issues discovered during the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to verify production stability.

• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance standards into all project phases.

Requirements

• Demonstrate six years of progressive experience in software testing, systems engineering, or architecture.

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and BDD methodologies.

• Apply core Java skills to develop robust and scalable automation scripts.

• Test API endpoints to ensure seamless data integration and backend functionality.

• Manage testing lifecycles within Microsoft TFS and Azure DevOps environments.

• Execute testing protocols for applications deployed on OpenShift platforms.

• Lead testing initiatives within Agile development frameworks.

• Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Manage multiple testing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance or development.

• Expert-level knowledge of Selenium, Core Java, and BDD automation frameworks.

• Proven experience in API testing and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter is considered a significant advantage.

• Experience with OpenShift and Azure DevOps is required for this leadership role.
