Family Tire Pros is seeking a high-performing Automotive Store Manager for their Indianapolis, IN location. As part of the nation’s largest network of independent tire dealers, Family Tire Pros emphasizes a “family-oriented” culture, offering a rare Monday–Saturday schedule with no Sundays, ensuring a strong work-life balance for leadership.

In this role, you are the “CEO” of your location. You are responsible for driving sales growth, managing the P&L, and inspiring a team of technicians and sales associates to deliver straightforward, dependable automotive service.


Executive Duties & Profit Center Management

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Team Lifecycle: Manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. You are responsible for disciplining and terminating staff in alignment with company policy.

  • Culture Carrier: Inspire and motivate the team to champion the business’s vision and values, providing consistent feedback and individual coaching.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure the shop operates in full compliance with OSHA and both Federal and State environmental regulations.

Financial Oversight (P&L)

  • Sales Growth: Lead the customer experience on the sales floor to achieve or exceed budgeted financial goals.

  • Expense Control: Manage controllable expenses, including payroll, to maximize the bottom line.

  • KPI Management: Understand and level-set employee expectations regarding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive positive results.

Operational Excellence

  • Quality Control: Inspect work orders, “VIP Checklists,” and Vehicle Health Checks to ensure every car meets the promise of dependability.

  • Facility Standards: Maintain “white glove” standards for the sales floor, stockroom, hospitality areas, and restrooms.

  • Relationship Building: Personally engage with high-value customers to build long-term trust and repeat business.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven management background where leading team sales and bottom-line performance was a primary requirement.

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience within the automotive service or tire industry is mandatory.

  • Communication: Ability to speak effectively to both customers and employees; must be able to interpret complex safety and maintenance manuals.

  • Language: Proficiency in English is required; Spanish speaking is a significant plus for the Indianapolis market.

  • Licensure: A valid driver’s license is required
