Job Overview: Apple Specialist (Retail)
Apple Retail is seeking Specialists for their Indianapolis, IN locations (including The Fashion Mall at Keystone and Greenwood Park). This role is the heart of the Apple Store experience—you aren’t just selling products; you are building brand loyalty by helping customers discover how Apple technology can enrich their lives.
Whether you are working full-time, part-time, or as a part-time temporary associate, your goal is to provide a “uniquely Apple” experience through deep product knowledge and empathetic service.
Key Responsibilities & Customer Experience
Solutions-Based Selling
Needs Discovery: Actively listen and ask curious questions to understand a customer’s specific needs, then personalize recommendations across Apple’s ecosystem (iPhone, Mac, iPad, Watch, and Services).
Product Education: Guide customers through the “Product Zone,” demonstrating features and educating them on various ways to buy (trade-ins, financing, etc.).
Brand Loyalty: Focus on creating “owners,” not just making sales, by ensuring customers leave with the right solution for their lifestyle.
Team & Store Support
Knowledge Sharing: Proactively stay updated on the latest software (iOS, macOS) and hardware to support your peers and customers.
Versatility: Be prepared to assist in other areas of the store as needed, maintaining a seamless environment during high-traffic periods.
