Job Purpose
The Senior Product Manager – E-Sales is responsible for the commercial success and strategic growth of digital sales channels. Your primary focus will be driving gross additions and profitability through innovative product development and high-impact Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies. You will manage the entire product lifecycle—from conceptualizing new features to retiring underperforming offerings—ensuring a lean, high-performing digital portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Growth
Sales Architecture: Develop and execute a product strategy that maximizes direct-to-customer sales via company digital channels.
Market Positioning: Identify gaps in the local digital landscape and rapidly position our platform as the nation’s leading choice for online sales.
Roadmap Alignment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build a roadmap that hits long-term adoption and expansion targets.
Customer Journey & Conversion
Funnel Optimization: Analyze customer behavior to refine the purchase journey, introducing features that convert browsers into active buyers.
Marketing Synergy: Partner with the Marketing team to deliver targeted product offerings to the right segments, enhancing conversion rates.
Operational Velocity: Streamline operations to automate the process from “first click” to revenue realization, ensuring a frictionless experience.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Management
Partner Leadership: Act as the primary business lead for multi-tier partners, ensuring seamless system integration and service continuity.
Channel Expansion: Proactively scout and develop new sales channels through strategic business partnerships.
Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on product performance and market relevance to drive data-backed decisions.
The Person: Entry Requirements
Education & Experience
Academic Background: BSc/BA in Marketing, Management, or a related field; an MBA or relevant graduate degree is a distinct advantage.
Professional Background: 4+ years of experience in product management or a closely related commercial role.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing product lifecycles and driving aggressive customer acquisition.
Technical & Leadership Skills
Agile Proficiency: Familiarity with the Agile framework and iterative development processes.
Strategic Thinking: Strong creative thinking skills with a high aptitude for problem-solving.
Leadership: Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with the communication skills needed to influence cross-functional teams.
Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of digital market trends and the ability to translate data into profitable business actions.
