This Lead Data Scientist role focuses on driving strategic AI initiatives that directly impact revenue growth and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle—from initial architecture and POC development in R or Python to full-scale deployment and maintenance. Beyond technical execution, the role involves presenting actionable intelligence to senior stakeholders and ensuring AI solutions integrate seamlessly with downstream systems for maximum scalability.

Leadership and mentorship are central to this position, requiring the management of Data Analysts and Scientists to ensure timely project delivery. Responsibilities include resource onboarding, team capability development, and fostering an environment of continuous innovation through internal R&D. The lead will also be responsible for monitoring and refining model performance, utilizing feedback loops to optimize results and maintaining a competitive edge by adopting emerging industry best practices and technologies.

Candidates must possess at least four years of Data Science experience and a degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science. Essential technical skills include a deep understanding of ML algorithms, data engineering across cloud environments, and expertise in data visualization. External applicants are required to score 70% or higher on the Data Scientist Entry Exam, with AFF Data Science certification considered a distinct advantage for those looking to excel in this innovative role.
