Qualicare — North York
Company & Location
Qualicare North York is the foundational branch of the Qualicare network, located at 3910 Bathurst St, Suite 404, Toronto, ON. While the corporate headquarters is also in Toronto, this specific location serves as a primary service hub for the North York, Don Mills, and Leaside communities. It provides a comprehensive range of nurse-managed home care services, specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, complex medical support, and “hospital-to-home” transitions. The office is strategically positioned to collaborate with local healthcare facilities, ensuring that families in the northern GTA have access to 24/7 personalized care and professional advocacy.
Culture
The culture at Qualicare North York is defined by a “360° Approach” to care, a philosophy born from the founders’ personal experience caring for a family member with ALS. This creates a high-empathy, clinical environment where every care plan is overseen by a Registered Nurse Care Expert. The workplace values Transparency, Honesty, and Respect, fostering a culture of “going beyond the usual” to support the entire family unit, not just the patient. Employees, including PSWs and housekeepers, operate in a bilingual and inclusive setting (supporting languages like Portuguese, Italian, and Russian) that emphasizes “finding the joy in little moments.” This results in a mission-driven atmosphere focused on providing “peace of mind” through accountability and a “nurse-led” standard of excellence.
