Job Summary Sidra Home Healthcare is seeking a self-sufficient Nursing Assistant to provide comprehensive, high-level care for elderly patients within their private residences. This role is unique as it requires a “hybrid” professional: someone with the clinical skills to manage complex medical needs—specifically PEG tube feeding—and the logistical independence of having their own visa and transportation. You will act as a dedicated health advocate, ensuring medical protocols are followed while providing the emotional support essential for geriatric well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical PEG Management: Take full responsibility for PEG tube feeding, maintenance, and associated hygiene care.
Vital Monitoring: Regularly track vital signs and physiological changes, reporting any deviations to the family or medical supervisor.
Daily Living Assistance: Support patients with essential mobility, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Medication Oversight: Manage medication schedules, providing reminders and assisting with administration as prescribed.
Emotional Support: Offer consistent companionship and social engagement to improve the patient’s quality of life.
Logistical Care: Use your own vehicle to ensure timely arrival at patient homes across various Dubai locations.
Requirements
Clinical Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Nursing Assistant in Elderly or Baby Care; specifically, 2 years of experience in the UAE homecare setting is preferred.
Specialized Knowledge: Proven competency in PEG tube management is mandatory.
Documentation: Candidates must bring their Passport copy, Emirates ID, CV, and a passport-size photo.
Logistics: Must have your own Visa and a private car with a valid UAE Driving License.
Language: Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts (Day/Night rotations).
Salary & Benefits
Monthly Pay: AED 3,000 – AED 3,500.
Estimated Average Salaries: In the 2026 Dubai market, caregivers who provide their own visa and transportation typically negotiate higher “all-inclusive” rates. While the base pay is AED 3,500, the market average for independent providers is closer to AED 4,500–AED 5,500 when fuel and visa maintenance are factored in.
Perks: The company provides labor/work permits, but the candidate must hold their own residency visa.
