IT Specialist – Converged Billing Services
Core Responsibilities:
Systems Operations: Manage daily billing cycles and resolve escalated customer billing inquiries with high accuracy.
Technical Troubleshooting: Configure system parameters and perform deep-dive analysis of traces and logs to diagnose and rectify platform issues.
Vendor Liaison: Partner with solution providers to ensure deliverables align with architectural designs, quality standards, and project timelines.
Knowledge Management: Maintain rigorous documentation for system configurations, application workflows, and evolving business rules.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with OCS/Billing platforms.
Database & OS: Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting.
Middleware: Familiarity with web-based applications and servers (Apache Tomcat, JBoss).
Telecom Protocols: Strong grasp of SS7, SIGTRAN, CAMEL, Diameter, and SOAP.
Bonus Skills: Expertise in Online Charging, Mediation, Provisioning, or Interconnect services.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or equivalent professional experience.
