Job Overview: Kroger Cashier (Full-Time)
The Kroger Co. is seeking a Full-Time Cashier to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. Customer Engagement & Support
Active Greeting: Remain visible and proactively engage with customers to answer questions about products and store locations.
Specialized Assistance: Provide direct support and patience when interacting with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Conflict Resolution: Manage high-paced or stressful situations in a non-confrontational and cooperative manner.
Store Operations
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all food safety regulations and identify unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair.
Marketing Awareness: Stay current with seasonal ads, special promotions, and coupon policies to provide accurate pricing to customers.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Criteria
Experience: Previous customer service experience is required.
Skills: Effective communication skills and a solid grasp of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
Reliability: Ability to follow directions and seek assistance to resolve business issues when necessary.
Preferred Background
Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is highly desired and will accelerate your training.
