Job Summary The Caregiver/Healthcare Nursing Assistant provides high-quality, person-centered support across residential, nursing, or home-care settings. Working under the direct guidance of Registered Nurses or senior medical staff, you will play a critical role in promoting the independence, dignity, and overall well-being of patients. This role is a blend of clinical observation and personal care, ensuring that patients receive holistic support in a safe and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care & Hygiene: Assist patients with essential daily tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence care, while maintaining the highest levels of privacy and dignity.
Clinical Support: Support patient mobility and safe handling using approved medical equipment; monitor and record food and fluid intake to ensure nutritional goals are met.
Observation & Reporting: Actively observe patient health and behavior, promptly reporting any deviations or concerns to the supervising nursing team.
Emotional & Social Engagement: Provide consistent companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction to enhance the patient’s mental health.
Administrative Diligence: Maintain accurate, timely, and strictly confidential patient records in accordance with hospital and UAE regulations.
Environmental Safety: Perform light household tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to ensure the care environment remains sterile, safe, and welcoming.
Requirements
Education/Certification: Possession of a Care Certificate (or a commitment to complete one upon hiring).
