Assistant Manager – Operations Support System (OSS)

Location: Akbar Brothers | Closing Date: 31/05/2026

Job Purpose

This role is central to designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems that power our network’s efficiency. You will bridge the gap between technical architecture and process optimization, ensuring seamless service assurance and automation across multiple network technologies.


What You’ll Do

System Architecture & Integration

  • End-to-End Management: Develop and maintain OSS architecture covering fault, performance, configuration, and inventory management.

  • Seamless Connectivity: Ensure fluid data flow between OSS, BSS, and network elements using APIs, mediation, and advanced automation tools.

  • Platform Health: Oversee the performance, availability, and scalability of all OSS platforms, including 24/7 tool support.

Automation & Optimization

  • Efficiency Gains: Identify opportunities for operational automation and predictive analytics to enhance NOC (Network Operations Center) efficiency.

  • Workflow Innovation: Optimize workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve overall network performance.

Project & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Project Lifecycle: Manage OSS projects from initial requirement gathering through to deployment and post-launch support.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with NOC engineers, vendors, and planning teams to align system capabilities with business goals.

Security & Governance

  • Compliance: Ensure all OSS architecture aligns with industry standards and internal governance policies.

  • Information Security: Rigorously implement security guidelines across all NOC tools and platforms.


What You’ll Bring

Education & Experience

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Engineering. (An MBA is a plus).

  • Proven Track Record: At least 3 years of relevant experience in network operations or service assurance.

Core Competencies

  • Telecom Expertise: Strong understanding of telecommunication principles and network performance management.

  • Analytical Mindset: A focus on customer experience management and data-driven troubleshooting.

  • Technical Agility: Familiarity with modern OSS/BSS integration and automation trends.
