Job Summary
The Caregiver and Bus Attendant is a vital member of the school’s support services team, responsible for the safety, comfort, and supervision of students during their daily commute and throughout the school day. This role requires a nurturing individual who can maintain an orderly environment on the bus while acting as a supportive figure for students, including those with special needs. You will serve as a key point of communication between the school, parents, and transportation managers.
Key Responsibilities
Transit Supervision: Assist students with boarding and disembarking the bus safely, ensuring they are securely seated throughout the journey.
Student Care: Provide specialized support to students with disabilities or specific mobility challenges; monitor and address student behavior to maintain a positive atmosphere.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to school safety protocols and emergency procedures; ensure the bus remains clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Effective Communication: Interact professionally with parents and school staff; report any incidents or health changes to the supervisor or school manager.
School Support: Assist with student supervision within the school premises as required by management during non-transit hours.
Requirements
Age & Gender: Female candidates, minimum of 25 years old.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree or relevant Diploma is preferred.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English (both verbal and written) is mandatory.
Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, childcare, or a similar educational support role is highly preferred.
Physical Stamina: Ability to assist individuals with mobility challenges and manage the physical demands of student transport.
Logistics: Ideally residing in Al Nahda or prepared to relocate to the school area for reliable commuting.
Salary & Benefits
Monthly Pay: Estimated AED 2,500 – AED 3,500 (Based on 2026 Dubai school transport market data).
