Mission of the Role

The primary objective of this position is to execute high-quality hair care services that refine and enhance the physical appearance of clients, ensuring they leave the salon feeling confident and at their best.

Core Accountabilities

• Client Consultation: Determine specific customer requirements and suggest a tailored selection of services, styles, and products that align with their needs.

• Expert Advisory: Offer professional guidance throughout every phase of the styling journey, providing insights on hair texture, treatments, coloring techniques, and structural styles.

• Technical Execution: Perform precise hair cutting, trimming, and styling according to client preferences and modern trends.

• Chemical Services: Deliver a full spectrum of hair coloration, ranging from standard applications to artistic highlights and advanced color transitions.

• Structural Styling: Execute permanent waving or straightening procedures utilizing specialized professional formulas.

• Relationship Management: Build and sustain long-term connections with key clientele, maintaining detailed records of past services, such as specific color formulas or chemical treatments used.

• Trend Awareness: Maintain an advanced understanding of evolving industry trends and styles, alongside a comprehensive knowledge of all retail and professional products within the salon.

• Hygiene & Standards: Uphold impeccable personal grooming and ensure the salon environment consistently meets the highest benchmarks of cleanliness and sanitation.

• Operational Coordination: Partner with front-desk staff and receptionists to optimize the daily appointment schedule and maximize salon productivity.

• Team Mentorship: Supervise and instruct salon assistants to ensure all support tasks adhere to the established brand standards of excellence.

Professional Requirements

• Education: High school diploma supplemented by a formal hairdressing accreditation (such as City & Guilds Level 2).

• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional hair cutting and styling experience within a high-end or reputable salon environment.

• Technical Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for hairdressing, staying abreast of the latest fashion movements and aesthetic trends.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, paired with a welcoming personality and a commitment to professional grooming standards.
