Role Type: Part-Time (15–25 hours/week)

Compensation: $20/hr Guaranteed ($17 base + $3 guaranteed tips)

L B Coffee is officially open on East 84th Street! We aren’t just opening a shop; we’re bringing a unique blend of Mediterranean warmth and New York energy to the Upper East Side.

The Opportunity: Be a Founding Team Member

As a part-time barista, you will be the face of our new location, helping us define the culture and standard of service that will make L B Coffee a neighborhood staple.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Mastering the Bar: Crafting espresso and coffee beverages with precision, care, and a genuine love for the craft.

• Neighborhood Hospitality: Building relationships with our regulars-to-be and bringing a welcoming, high-energy vibe to every interaction.

• Operational Flow: Keeping the bar moving smoothly during rushes and ensuring the aesthetic of the café remains sharp and inviting.

• Creative Collaboration: Contributing your ideas and energy to help shape the future of L B Coffee as we grow.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who balances technical expertise with a “positive vibes only” attitude.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of barista experience (Required). Experience in specialty coffee is a significant plus.

• Skillset: You love a perfect cappuccino foam as much as you love connecting with people.

• Work Ethic: You thrive in fast-paced environments and maintain your “chill” when the line gets long.

• Team Player: A reliable, community-focused individual who supports their coworkers.

• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stay mobile throughout your shift.
