In the position of Cabin Services Assistant, you will manage, sanitize, and customize the A380 Shower Spas to ensure every First Class passenger utilizing this exclusive onboard amenity enjoys an exceptional experience. While your main focus is the hygiene and presentation of the Shower Spa, you are also responsible for the upkeep of Economy, Business, and First Class restrooms, as well as the premium lounges and common cabin sections, consistently upholding a high-standard brand image.
This role is strictly dedicated to aircraft cleanliness and does not interfere with or substitute standard Cabin Crew service tasks. You will report directly to the Purser, or the Senior Flight Steward/Stewardess if the Purser is resting or otherwise occupied.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will perform the following duties:
Manage inventory levels to verify that all items are stocked in the right amounts, ensuring facilities are fully serviced and replenished throughout the flight for passenger selection.
Inspect the Shower Spa and all restrooms before boarding to ensure cleanliness and the proper placement of amenities for guest use.
Conduct thorough and hygienic cleaning of the Shower Spas immediately following each use, adhering to the CSA Checklist to maintain rigorous company standards.
Customize the Shower Spa environment for each passenger based on their scheduled time in the Reservation System, arranging chosen products attractively to exceed guest expectations.
Regulate access to the Shower Spa once it is prepared for a specific passenger and notify the Purser of any scheduling delays to ensure the reservation system functions smoothly and stays clean.
Keep all aircraft lavatories tidy and organized by performing routine checks and following the CSA Checklist to ensure amenity availability.
Uphold a safe, clean, and visually appealing cabin environment by performing general tidying duties across all passenger cabins and lounge areas.
Inform the Purser of any technical faults for quick resolution and safeguard company assets and passenger safety by reporting unusual sounds, smells, suspicious items, or odd behavior immediately.
Maintain punctuality for all shifts and strictly follow uniform and grooming standards, while respecting the onboard hierarchy and executing tasks as assigned by the Purser.
Criteria for Selection
To be eligible for this position, you must fulfill the following criteria:
A minimum of 10 years of formal education or its equivalent.
At least 2 years of professional experience in customer service with a global hotel brand, airline, or premium service organization.
Prior experience within a hospitality housekeeping department is considered a distinct advantage.
Full proficiency in both verbal and written English.
