Hashtag Café is more than just a place for caffeine; we are a community staple in Astoria known for high-quality brews and an even higher standard of hospitality. We are currently looking for a seasoned, high-energy Barista to join our team on a full-time basis.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a “people-first” attitude, and can craft the perfect micro-foam while switching seamlessly between English and Spanish, we want to meet you.

• Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour + generous tips.

• Hours: Monday through Thursday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

• Availability: We are looking for an immediate start.

• Location: Astoria (The heart of the action!).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Crafting Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and speed.

• Connecting with Community: Build rapport with our regulars and welcome newcomers in both English and Spanish.

• Maintaining the Vibe: Keep the café clean, organized, and stocked to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Handling High Volume: Manage the morning rush with grace, accuracy, and a positive attitude.

What You Bring to the Bar

• Experience: Previous professional barista experience is required. You should be comfortable with espresso extraction and milk steaming.

• Linguistic Skills: Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential to serve our diverse Astoria community.

• Reliability: You’re a morning person who values punctuality and shows up ready to lead the shift.

• Passion: A genuine love for the craft of coffee and a desire to provide top-tier service.
