The Role: Precision, Pace, and Presentation
As an ELOREA Barista, you are the primary architect of our guest experience. You will balance technical brewing excellence with the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with effortless professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Specialty Craft: Expertly prepare coffee and espresso beverages, delivering high-level latte art with every pour.

Service Excellence: Execute all tasks with efficiency and a sense of urgency, ensuring every guest receives attentive, empathetic service.

Operational Integrity: Manage the POS system with precision, ensuring accurate transactions and cash handling.

Product Knowledge: Weigh, grind, and pack coffee beans to guest specifications; maintain a deep understanding of our menu and brand story.

Safety & Standards: Uphold strict beverage safety and cleanliness standards, including diligent FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation and dating of all products.

Continuous Learning: Embrace new training materials and adapt to evolving menu offerings or service standards with an open mind.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for a candidate who combines technical “barista-ship” with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications:

Experience: 1+ year of experience operating a manual espresso machine (preferred).

Artistry: Proven ability to perform latte art consistently.

Communication: Outstanding verbal skills and a natural ability to connect with a diverse NYC clientele.

Agility: Ability to perform simple math for production and transactions while maintaining focus under pressure.

Flexibility: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the retail schedule.

Eligibility: Must provide proof of the right to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to maintain “well-paced mobility” for shifts up to 8 hours (standing, walking, squatting).

Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs (milk crates, coffee bags, etc.).

Comfort moving quickly and efficiently through a multi-use space.
