Programme Structure
Our AMEL scholarship is a fully funded initiative spanning approximately five years, divided into two primary stages:
Stage 1: Foundational Training (3 Years)
Participants will engage in a rigorous curriculum of theoretical study and hands-on practical training. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a GCAA certificate from the Emirates Engineering Training College, a Higher Diploma from Emirates Aviation University (attested by the Ministry of Higher Education), and an NQC-MOHESR Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.

Stage 2: Practical Maintenance Experience (2 Years)
During this final phase, you will gain essential on-the-job experience by working directly on active aircraft. Completing this stage qualifies you to apply for the GCAA Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (AMEL), marking your transition into a professional Aircraft Technician.
Salary progression during this stage:
Year 1: AED 21,659 per month.
Year 2: AED 22,659 per month.
Upon Graduation: AED 23,697 per month.
Criteria for Selection
We are seeking motivated candidates who meet the following professional and personal standards:
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 24.
Successful completion of Grade 12 with a minimum academic score of 80%.
Completion of National Service is mandatory prior to joining the program (though high school graduates may begin the selection process earlier).
Must meet all required medical fitness standards for engineering roles.
Possession of a valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid.
Demonstrated English fluency, with a requirement to provide a TOEFL (PBT 510 / IBT 6.5) or IELTS (6.0) score following the assessment phase.
The Evaluation Process
Qualified candidates will proceed through a multi-step selection journey:
Academic assessments in Mathematics and Physics.
A formal interview with a selection panel.
A comprehensive medical examination.
