We are looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking actuary to join our expanding Individual Disability Insurance (IDI) team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a growing business, where you will help refine valuation processes for our primary products and support the rollout of innovative new disability initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain valuation models and tools • Set and update valuation assumptions as experience emerges • Calculate active life, disabled life, and IBNR reserves • Incorporate new product initiatives into valuation models • Partner with Finance and third‑party administrators to ensure accurate reserve data • Prepare management reporting and provide insights on morbidity, lapse, and asset performance • Support analysis of earnings drivers and emerging trends • Assist in building early‑stage experience studies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field • 6+ years actuarial experience in insurance, financial services, or consulting • FSA • Familiarity with U.S. Statutory and management reporting for morbidity‑based products (IDI, LTC, Group Disability) • Experience with Prophet modeling a plus • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills

You will bridge the gap between technical modeling and strategic decision-making by providing critical insights into earnings drivers and morbidity trends. By maintaining our valuation tools and collaborating with external partners, you will ensure our financial reporting is precise and impactful, helping to steer the long-term success of our IDI portfolio.
