Role Summary: Network Install Technician
AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for a hands-on technical professional to help build and maintain the physical foundation of the cloud. As a Network Install Technician, you will be responsible for the “boots-on-the-ground” deployment of global network infrastructure. You’ll work in the heart of our data centers, moving enterprise-grade equipment and implementing the complex fiber and copper cabling that allows AWS to provide seemingly infinite capacity to our customers. This is a high-energy role that blends physical precision with technical troubleshooting to ensure our network remains stable and scalable.
Key Requirements & Skills

High school or equivalent diploma

1+ year of experience in any of the following or similar technical or vocational roles: Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations

Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment

Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+)

Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies

Physical Requirements: Regularly lift 40 lbs, climb ladders, and stand/walk for 8+ hours.

Travel: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required for regional travel.
