Key Responsibilities & Developmental Care

Social & Physical Engagement

  • Community Integration: Take the lead in keeping the toddler social by attending baby classes, swimming sessions, and local groups.

  • Developmental Play: Plan and execute age-appropriate activities within the home that align with the 15-month developmental milestone.

  • Routine Maintenance: Seamlessly step into the child’s existing schedule to ensure consistency in sleep and nutrition.

Travel & Logistics

  • Global Support: Accompany the family on trips, providing high-quality care and stability while traveling.

  • Pet Interaction: Provide care in a home that includes one dog, ensuring a safe and harmonious environment for both the child and the pet.

  • Transportation: Utilize your driving skills to safely transport the child to various activities and appointments.


Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Criteria

  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional Nanny experience.

  • Education: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent professional qualification.

  • Safety: Must possess an Enhanced DBS Check (registered on the update service) and a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

  • References: At least two professional referees, including your most recent employer, who are immediately contactable.

  • Driving: A valid driver’s license is required.

Candidate Profile

  • Disposition: Warm, passionate, and genuinely caring with a deep interest in early childhood development.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to the family’s changing needs during trips.


Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: £23,400 Gross per Annum.

  • Hours of Work: 08:00 – 18:00 (30 hours per week).

  • Days Required: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

  • Location: East Leeds, West Yorkshire (Burton Salmon).

  • Job Type: Permanent.
