Job Description

Do you want to turn your car into an “Earning Engine” or your bike into a “Delivery Machine”? Uber is seeking Weekend Drivers and Couriers to join the thousands of independent contractors moving the heart of Toronto. We aren’t just an app; we are the platform that keeps the city’s residents connected to their favorite foods and their most important destinations. If you have the “grit” to handle the downtown core’s weekend traffic and the “wit” to provide 5-star service to every rider or customer, you belong on the platform.

In this role, you are your own “Logistics Manager.” You understand that the touch of a button represents a promise of reliability. Your goal is to provide “Excellence in Mobility,” ensuring that every trip to Pearson Airport or every delivery from Tim Hortons is handled with professional care. We look for “Integrity-first” partners who value safety, follow local bylaws, and take pride in their independence.

Joining Uber means joining a global mission to move the world for the better. We offer the flexibility to fit work around your life—not the other way around. Whether you’re a student looking for a “Sunday Morning Hustle” or a professional seeking “Saturday Night Surge” earnings, we provide the platform for your success. If you are a Toronto resident with a commitment to “Safe and Reliable Transit,” we invite you to sign up, get cleared, and start earning on your own schedule today.

Uber: Moving the World Through Innovation

Uber’s culture is defined by its mission to “Reimagine the Way the World Moves for the Better.” In Toronto, this translates into a high-octane, tech-first environment governed by values like “Go Get It” and “Build with Heart.” As a global leader in mobility and delivery, Uber fosters a culture of rapid experimentation and intellectual curiosity. Employees are encouraged to be “owners,” tackling complex urban challenges with data-driven solutions while maintaining a strong commitment to becoming a zero-emissions platform by 2040.

Toronto is home to a major Uber Engineering Hub, primarily located in the vibrant Liberty Village neighborhood. This historic tech enclave serves as a “Silicon Valley North,” where teams work on cutting-edge projects like Uber Freight and grocery integration. Additionally, Uber operates a Greenlight Hub in Scarborough (Executive Rd), providing a dedicated physical space for driver and delivery partners. Working here places you at the epicenter of Canada’s tech scene, blending the grit of a global startup with the diverse, multicultural energy of the GTA.
