Pay Range: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour

Location: Sun City, Surprise, Peoria, and surrounding West Valley areas

Shift Type: Weekend assignments available (Flexible scheduling)

This role is perfect for someone who leads with empathy and wants to build a meaningful one-on-one relationship with their clients.

Your Role: Personal Support & Companionship

You will be the primary point of contact for seniors, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and respect.

  • Personal Care: Assisting with grooming, bathing, and mobility to ensure the client feels their best.

  • Household Support: Preparing nutritious meals and handling light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.

  • Transportation: Providing occasional rides for errands or medical appointments.

  • Companionship: Engaging in conversation and activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.

What You’ll Need

We welcome both seasoned professionals and those looking to start a new career path.

  • The Basics: Must be 18+ years old with a valid AZ driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable personal transportation.

  • Compliance: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, TB test, and obtain fingerprint clearance.

  • Skills: Excellent communication is a must. While 1 year of experience is preferred, we provide full training for those new to the field.

  • Safety: CPR and 1st Aid certification (we will help you get certified if you aren’t already).

The Caregiver Daily Workflow

In an in-home setting, your “office” changes but your standard of care remains the same.

  1. Arrival & Assessment: Checking in with the client, reviewing the care plan, and noting any changes in health or mood.

  2. Activity Support: Assisting with morning or evening routines, including hygiene and meal prep.

  3. Environment Check: Ensuring walkways are clear of fall hazards and the home is tidy.

  4. Engagement: Spending dedicated time on social interaction—reading, walking, or talking—before documenting the visit.
