Role Overview

We are looking for a highly disciplined and detail-oriented Warehouse & Delivery In-Charge to lead our logistics hub in Dubai. This role demands a hands-on leader who can ensure 100% inventory accuracy, optimized delivery routing, and strict compliance with international quality standards. You will be the central point of coordination between Purchasing, Finance, and Sales to ensure a seamless supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse & Inventory Control

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end process of receiving, storage (FIFO/FEFO), picking, packing, and dispatch.

  • Inventory Integrity: Take full ownership of 100% stock accuracy. Conduct daily cycle counts, report weekly variances, and immediately investigate discrepancies.

  • System Management: Ensure every item is correctly GRN’d, labeled, and tracked within Business Central.

  • Space Optimization: Maintain organized bin locations and implement layout improvements to maximize space utilization.

2. Delivery & Logistics Management

  • Route Planning: Design efficient daily delivery routes to maximize fleet productivity.

  • KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on On-Time Delivery (OTD) rates, return cases, and failed delivery reasons.

  • Documentation: Ensure all Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are collected, organized, and uploaded to the system without backlog.

3. Compliance & Safety

  • Quality Standards: Maintain rigorous records and workflows in accordance with ISO 13485 and UAE regulations.

  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of warehouse equipment, racking, and climate control (AC) systems.

  • Safety Leadership: Enforce safety protocols, conduct drills, and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) where required.

4. Team Leadership

  • Supervision: Manage warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring logical task allocation and high productivity.

  • Training: Conduct regular training on picking accuracy, scanning technology, and safety procedures.

  • Discipline: Uphold high standards for attendance, hygiene, and professional conduct.

Candidate Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or a similar tier-1 ERP).

  • Logistics Background: Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g., Medical Devices).

  • Leadership Style: A proactive problem-solver who leads with a balance of firmness and fairness.

  • Communication: Strong English communication skills to coordinate across departments and manage customer etiquette.

  • Resilience: Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict daily delivery deadlines.
