Inovata Foods Corp. is currently seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to assist us in our mission of connecting people through nutritious and easy-to-prepare food options. This opportunity is based out of our manufacturing plant in Edmonton, Alberta. Our organization serves as a principal manufacturer of high-quality private label frozen entrees for major retailers throughout the continent.

Position Details:

• Vacancy Type: Current Opening

• Compensation: $27.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the correct processing, placement, and organized storage of arriving inventory and the movement of items between storage areas and manufacturing zones while adhering to GMP standards and allergen protocols.

• Ensure the organized preparation and distribution of components, raw ingredients, and containers to the production floor, following FIFO/FEFO principles and complying with the Bill of Materials and CFIA mandates.

• Oversee precise and prompt stock tallies, rotating inventory checks, and the documentation of any deficits, potential supply gaps, or physical damage.

• Coordinate the timely transfer of all raw components requiring temperature adjustment to designated rooms ahead of schedule.

• Contribute vigorously to the maintenance of a secure and hygienic warehouse atmosphere.

• Ensure the appropriate utilization and maintenance of material handling equipment, loading bays, entryways, and shelving units, including the immediate reporting of any mechanical failures or accidents.

• Commit to obtaining necessary role-specific instruction, peripheral skill training, and task-related certifications.

• Uphold the general tidiness and structural order of the entire storage facility.

• Document all compromised inventory, analyze the root causes of such damage, and assist in executing preventative strategies to stop future occurrences while notifying Quality Assurance.

• Validate the precision and authenticity of all handled warehouse goods and associated administrative records.

• Facilitate the swift transition and shipment of premium food items to meet client demands.

• Foster positive internal staff dynamics and offer performance observations regarding duties and goals through direct dialogue.

• Sustain all operational zones in alignment with department standards, corporate safety protocols, and relevant provincial health and safety statutes.

Shift:

We are recruiting for two part-time roles, covering a morning rotation and a late rotation as follows:

• Friday and Saturday, 06:00 to 16:30

• Friday and Saturday, 15:00 to 01:30

Requirements:

• Prior background in a distribution or warehouse setting is beneficial
