Job Overview: Lead Vasectomy Specialist (Clinic Launch Partner)

DrSnip is expanding to Houston and seeking a lead Physician (M.D. or D.O.) to launch and grow their newest specialized clinic. With over 30 years of experience and a volume of 5,000+ procedures annually, DrSnip is a leader in the “no-needle, no-scalpel” vasectomy technique.

This is a unique hybrid clinical-leadership role. You will be the medical face of the new Houston location, combining specialized hands-on surgery with the opportunity to shape the clinic’s culture and community impact using DrSnip’s established success playbook.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope

Surgical & Patient Care

Specialized Procedures: Perform no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomies using the proprietary DrSnip technique (training provided).
Consultations: Conduct patient consultations to educate families and ensure they are comfortable with the procedure.
Continuity of Care: Deliver attentive follow-up care and provide on-call support for your specific patient base.

Leadership & Launch

Clinic Growth: Act as the physician leader for the Houston launch, guiding the clinic from its opening phase through its growth milestones.
Team Collaboration: Work with a dedicated support team of medical assistants and office staff to maintain an efficient, high-quality outpatient environment.
Operational Excellence: Ensure the practice remains patient-centered, adhering to the high standards that have defined the brand for three decades.

Qualifications & Requirements

Core Credentials

Education: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid Texas Medical License (or ability to obtain one).
Certifications: Current DEA registration with full prescriptive authority.

Experience & Skills

Experience: Prior vasectomy experience is highly preferred but not required. You do not need a urology specialization; DrSnip provides hands-on training in their specific technique.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for putting patients at ease in a specialized, fast-paced setting.
Mindset: A “patient-first” approach and a desire to lead a new business venture.

Pay Model: Competitive fee-for-service model (earnings tied to procedures performed).
