Test Automation Lead

Job Duties

• Review and analyze system specifications to identify testing requirements and potential edge cases.

• Collaborate with Application Development teams to develop comprehensive test strategies and quality assurance plans.

• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality and performance.

• Analyze test results and evaluate product code against technical specifications and business requirements.

• Create detailed logs to document specific testing phases, execution steps, and identified defects.

• Report bugs and errors to development teams through centralized tracking systems like Azure DevOps.

• Help troubleshoot complex technical issues found during the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure production stability.

• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain high quality standards across the entire product suite.

• Design and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and BDD methodologies.

Requirements

• Possess 6 years of progressive experience in software testing, systems engineering, or architecture.

• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks for diverse application environments.

• Test applications hosted on OpenShift or similar containerized platforms.

• Utilize Microsoft TFS and Azure DevOps for task management and defect tracking.

• Apply Agile development and testing principles within a fast-paced delivery environment.

• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.

• Manage multiple testing priorities effectively through strong organizational and time management skills.

• Perform API testing to ensure seamless integration between backend services.

• Utilize Core Java skills to develop and enhance automated test scripts.

• Execute performance testing scenarios using JMeter to identify system bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Maintain advanced proficiency in Selenium, TestNG, and BDD automation frameworks.

• Demonstrate technical expertise in API validation and performance engineering.
