Why Choose RSM?

RSM is a “middle-market” leader. Unlike the “Big Four,” where you might be siloed into a single niche, RSM interns often see a broader view of a client’s business, allowing you to understand how different tax specialisms interact.

Application Tip: One Shot Only

RSM has a strict one application per cycle policy. Do not apply for multiple locations or service lines simultaneously, as they will only consider the first one submitted.

  1. Focus on “Team Tax”: RSM emphasizes collaboration. In your application, provide examples of when you’ve worked in a team to solve a complex problem.

  2. Show Commercial Awareness: You don’t need to be a tax expert yet, but you should be able to discuss a recent business news story and how it might impact a company’s financial or tax position.

  3. Prepare for Numbers: Ensure your CV highlights your analytical capabilities, whether through your degree modules, part-time work, or personal projects.
