In this specialized role, you will be the primary architect of GE Aerospace’s global mobility infrastructure, ensuring that thousands of employees stay connected through seamless, compliant, and cost-effective mobile carrier services.

Based in the Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) , you will bridge the gap between high-level digital strategy and day-to-day operational excellence. Your mission is to manage the entire lifecycle of mobile assets—from vendor negotiations and financial auditing in ServiceNow (SNOW) to enforcing security protocols via Microsoft Intune . Key Responsibilities

The Staff Application Operations Engineer manages a complex ecosystem of vendors, hardware, and financial data:

  • Service Governance & Catalog Management: Maintain an optimized catalog of approved mobile devices and services. Streamline procurement to ensure all hardware aligns with organizational needs and security standards.

  • Asset & CMDB Oversight: Ensure the absolute health and accuracy of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) . Track mobile assets across the global organization to ensure 100% compliance with inventory policies.

  • Vendor & Carrier Management: Lead relationships with global mobile carriers and device manufacturers. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and drive adherence to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Financial Optimization: Oversee the “Order-to-Pay” cycle, including Purchase Orders (POs), invoice validation, and cost allocation. Identify cost-saving opportunities through rate audits and usage optimization.

  • Technical Support & Incident Leadership: Act as the escalation point for high-priority mobility incidents. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and manage complex service requests within ServiceNow.

  • Security & Policy Enforcement: Centralize device management using Microsoft Intune , enforcing strict security policies and compliance standards across the mobile fleet.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop sophisticated dashboards for usage, costs, and service health. Leverage data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.

  • Knowledge Leadership: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), mentor junior engineers, and lead workshops to educate internal teams on emerging mobile technologies.


Required Qualifications & Skills

GE Aerospace seeks a technical specialist with a “STEM” background and deep operational experience:

  • Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).

  • Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in an operational setting specifically focused on Mobile Carrier Services .

  • Technical Proficiency: Professional experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) CMDB management and Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM).

  • Professional Tenure: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience within the Digital Technology domain.
