Joining Green Power Energy means joining a thriving industry with unparalleled growth opportunities. We offer a supportive sales culture where you are mentored by leaders who have been in the sector for over a decade. We value dedication and a “win-win” mentality—where your success is directly tied to the positive impact you make on the community. If you are ready to make a significant impact and enjoy a career in a field that is shaping the future of New Brunswick, we want to hear from you.

Green Power Energy | Moncton & Regional Solar

Green Power Energy is a premium renewable energy firm that has expanded its well-established American operations into the Moncton and broader New Brunswick market. With over 15 years of experience in the Northeast U.S., the company specializes in high-efficiency residential and commercial solar installations, battery storage solutions, and energy auditing.

Company Culture: “The Solar Family”

The culture at Green Power Energy is defined by its origin as a family-owned business, emphasizing long-term relationships over high-pressure sales.

  • Educational Approach: Rather than “closing deals,” the culture focuses on being “Home Comfort Advisors.” Consultants are trained to act as educators, helping homeowners understand energy ROI and local rebates (like the NB Power Total Home Energy Savings Program).

  • “You’re Not a Number”: Internal reviews frequently highlight a “small company feel” despite rapid growth. Management is described as supportive and approachable, with a focus on work-life harmony and flexible scheduling for its field and remote teams.

  • Grit and Craftsmanship: In the installation and operations divisions, there is a strong emphasis on “pride in work.” The culture attracts people who enjoy the physical, outdoor nature of solar work and who are committed to the 25-year performance guarantees provided to clients.

  • Continuous Growth: The company is currently in a “busy and expanding” phase. It fosters an environment where “Service-Yeti” technicians and installers can advance into specialized electrician or project management roles as the Maritime solar market matures.

Location: The Moncton Solar Hub

Moncton serves as a strategic regional base for Green Power Energy’s expansion into Atlantic Canada, leveraging the city’s central geography to reach clients across New Brunswick.

  • Strategic Mobilization: While the company maintains major headquarters in the U.S. (Annandale, NJ), the Moncton team functions as a localized Design and Installation Hub.

  • Satellite Estimating: The Moncton office utilizes advanced SolarSatData™ technology to perform remote property assessments. This allows the team to provide residents with detailed solar layouts and production estimates without an initial site visit.

  • Regional Expertise: The local team is specialized in navigating New Brunswick’s specific climate challenges and regulatory standards, ensuring that racking and panel installations are “Maritime-ready” for high snow loads and coastal winds.

  • Turnkey Services: From its Moncton base, the company manages the entire lifecycle of a project—from securing permits and financing (like the Greener Homes Loan) to final utility interconnection with NB Power.
