Job Description: DevOps Engineer (Advanced Analytics COE)

We are seeking an innovative and experienced DevOps Engineer to support our Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) Squads. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring our analytics platforms are scalable, secure, and highly automated.

Core Responsibilities

  • Automation & Orchestration: Automate deployment and configuration management to maintain consistent, scalable environments.

  • CI/CD Management: Implement and manage robust pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins (including Shared Libraries, Pipeline-as-Code, Groovy, or Python).

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy environments using Terraform and Ansible.

  • Cloud & Containers: Manage deployments on Container Technologies (Native Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or OCI).

  • Troubleshooting: Resolve infrastructure and application bottlenecks in coordination with development teams.

  • Security & Auth: Apply sound knowledge of Microservice authentication and authorization processes.

  • Observability: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.

  • GitOps: Utilize GitOps tools like ArgoCD for modern deployment workflows.

Technical Skills & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Methodology: Comprehensive understanding of DevOps/SRE practices, IaC, and 12-Factor App principles.

  • Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in at least one major Public Cloud provider (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCI).

  • Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.

  • Scripting: Strong automation skills using Python, Groovy, or Bash.

  • Communication: Ability to provide clear internal/external communication to improve transparency across stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong Python programming experience.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage client expectations effectively.
