This is a high-level technical role within The Emirates Group IT, supporting the global operations of the world’s leading airline, Emirates, and the air services provider, dnata. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a “Full-Stack capable” member of an Agile feature team, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of mission-critical software products. Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Coding: Contributing to the analysis of application requirements and converting technical solutions into high-performance, low-level designs and working code.

Quality Assurance: Accountability for “Built-in Quality,” ensuring 100% unit testing within the CI/CD pipeline and minimizing code debt through continuous refactoring.

Production Support: Participating in rotational on-call duties to resolve production incidents within strictly defined SLAs, often with minimal supervision.

Candidate Requirements
The Emirates Group seeks a degree-qualified engineer with a “technical excellence” mindset:

Education: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: At least 1+ years of hands-on Software Engineering experience, specifically with Java and Agile methodologies.

Full-Stack Knowledge: Practical experience with Spring Boot and Oracle on the backend, and Angular JS or React JS on the frontend.

Testing Discipline: Strong understanding of unit testing, functional testing, and test automation.

Analytical Grit: Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues and design simple, scalable modules in an enterprise context.
