Senior Accountant

Job brief

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with overseeing the financial operations and reporting for a company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial matters. Responsibilities- Includes but not limited too:
• Managing all aspects of the company’s financial accounting, including AP, GL entries and assisting with AR
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, all budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations within The Bahamas
• Coordinate with external auditors
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management

Requirements
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of demonstrated accounting experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
