Sales Associate

Job Duties

• Greet every customer upon entry to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere within the New York location.

• Deliver detailed product demonstrations that highlight key features and benefits to drive individual sales targets.

• Maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding current inventory, pricing structures, and promotional offers.

• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately while following all cash handling and data privacy protocols.

• Organize and restock merchandise displays to ensure the sales floor meets high visual merchandising standards.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints with a focus on brand loyalty and satisfaction.

• Capture customer contact information to support ongoing CRM and local marketing initiatives.

• Collaborate with the inventory team to receive and tag new shipments during high-traffic periods.

• Monitor the sales floor for loss prevention while providing attentive service to all guests.

• Contribute to daily opening and closing procedures to ensure the storefront is prepared for business.

Requirements

• Possess prior experience in a customer-facing sales or service environment.

• Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor.

• Show the ability to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends and holiday periods.

• Exhibit a proactive approach to learning technical product specifications and sales techniques.

• Maintain a high level of energy and physical stamina for extended periods on the sales floor.

• Apply basic mathematical skills for processing transactions and calculating discounts.

• Work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team to achieve collective revenue goals.

• Handle high-pressure situations and busy store environments with composure and grace.

• Reside within a commutable distance to the New York, NY flagship location.

• Reflect the brand’s aesthetic and values through professional personal presentation.
