Job Duties

  • Own the definition, structure, and reliability of data originating from revenue platforms including Salesforce and automation systems.

  • Serve as the primary decision owner for GTM-sourced tables and views used for forecasting, lifecycle tracking, and signal-based workflows.

  • Design and evolve core GTM data models across Salesforce, ETL layers, and analytics platforms.

  • Partner with Data Engineering to align GTM schemas with enterprise models and define clear data contracts for downstream consumers.

  • Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to ensure revenue data is statistically sound and reflects actual business operations.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual data workflows to reduce operational overhead and human error.

  • Advise Platforms, Revenue Operations, and Security teams on the technical feasibility and sequencing of data-heavy initiatives.


Requirements

  • Demonstrate 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data systems roles within the SaaS or technology sector.

  • Operate production-grade data pipelines with a deep understanding of reliability and scalability.

  • Apply high-level proficiency in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques to complex business problems.

  • Utilize modern data stacks such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift in a hands-on capacity.

  • Manage ETL and ELT processes using industry-standard tooling like dbt, Airflow, or Census.

  • Navigate Salesforce data models and common Go-To-Market system architectures effectively.

  • Translate abstract business concepts into durable, well-structured, and interpretable data models.

  • Communicate technical data strategies clearly to both engineering partners and non-technical business stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Possess a proven track record in supporting revenue, sales, or customer lifecycle data systems.

  • Maintain familiarity with event-based data platforms and Data Cloud equivalents.

  • Demonstrate experience working alongside platform engineering and security teams on access controls and compliance.

  • Mentor or guide other data practitioners in best practices for data governance and modeling.
