JOB SUMMARY
• Responsible for receiving and stocking merchandise, processing transactions, and providing friendly, efficient service to customers.
• Handle sales transactions including totaling bills, accepting payments, making change, and maintaining accurate cash records.
• Ensure displays are appealing and merchandise is well-presented to drive sales.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchandising & Stocking
• Stock shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise.
• Arrange products and set up promotional displays to enhance sales.
• Mark prices on merchandise and maintain organized inventory.
• Retrieve items requested by customers and process received merchandise.

Customer Service
• Answer customer inquiries regarding product location, price, and use.
• Provide friendly, service-oriented assistance and resolve customer complaints.
• Wrap, bag, and present merchandise professionally.

Transactions & Recordkeeping
• Total merchandise prices including tax to determine final bill.
• Manage cash register, including end-of-shift cash counts.
• Maintain accurate sales records, inventory logs, and prepare merchandise orders.
