Recruiting for Security Compass requires an understanding of the “Shift Left” philosophy in software development.

  • Sourcing for SDLC Security: You will be looking for talent that understands how to integrate security requirements directly into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This involves identifying candidates with expertise in automation, threat modeling, and secure coding.

  • AI in HR Tech: Security Compass utilizes BrightHire, an AI-enabled interview tool. You will use this to support unbiased note-taking and review, ensuring that the final “Human Decision” is backed by accurate, data-driven insights.

  • The “Connection Day” Model: In a remote-first organization, the “People Experience” side of your role focuses on Social Capital. You will design “Connection Days” that maximize face-to-face interaction to prevent “Remote Silos” and foster community.

In Toronto, Security Compass maintains a high-profile presence in the city’s tech and waterfront corridors:

  • Global Headquarters: Located at 390 Queens Quay West (Suite 103), overlooking Lake Ontario. This modern workspace serves as the central hub for their executive leadership, product development, and global operations.

  • Innovation Presence: They have previously maintained offices at 325 Front Street West, placing them directly within Toronto’s “data center alley” and close to major financial partners.
