To ensure you have the most accurate information, it is important to address a persistent source of confusion: “Wayman Learning Trust” is not an educational trust or school academy. Despite the name, it is a brand name used by Wayman Education, a specialist education recruitment agency. When you encounter job listings under this name, you are interacting with a private recruitment firm that acts as an intermediary, matching teachers and support staff with schools in Luton and across the UK.

Why this distinction matters:
-
The Hiring Process: When you apply to a “Wayman Learning Trust” listing, you are applying to a recruitment consultant who will manage your application, handle your initial screening, and negotiate your salary if successful.
-
Agency vs. Employer: You are not becoming an employee of “Wayman Learning Trust.” If you are placed in a school, your actual employer will be the school, the local authority, or the academy trust that manages that specific school.
