As a Quality Control Associate at Cookunity, you will execute essential oversight tasks to maintain the highest standards of culinary excellence. You are responsible for safeguarding the integrity of our prepared meals by adhering strictly to HACCP and FDA guidelines. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every dish leaving our facility is safe, accurate, and produced in a sanitary environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sanitation Readiness: Execute and document comprehensive Pre-Op inspections to verify facility cleanliness before production begins.

Production Oversight: Supervise active food preparation areas to ensure all culinary staff are following the specific terms of the Cookunity Chef agreement.

Technical Documentation: Review daily menus and enter every meal component into the Cooking/Cooling Log; precisely record the time and temperature of each dish and verify weights for consistency.

Hygiene Enforcement: Actively communicate and enforce kitchen safety protocols, including mandatory mask usage, glove protocols, hairnet compliance, and proper hand-washing techniques.

Inventory Management: Verify that all items entering the walk-in storage are accurately labeled with the Chef’s name, product description, and date of preparation.

Climate Control Monitoring: Ensure walk-in coolers remain sealed and maintain a constant temperature of 41 degrees or lower to prevent spoilage.
CANDIDATE PREREQUISITES

Environmental Tolerance: Capacity to operate effectively in a cold-storage preparation zone maintained at 35 degrees.

Physical Capability: Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and lift/move up to 25 pounds independently.
