Role Overview:

Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago is seeking a dedicated Public Area Cleaner for our Overnight Shift. This role is critical to maintaining our status as a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Hotel. You will be responsible for the immaculate upkeep of the lobby, elevators, outdoor perimeter, and other public spaces, ensuring they meet the highest luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Five-Star Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, dust, and polish all public guest areas according to priority and established standards.
Safety & Compliance: Use and label cleaning chemicals correctly per OSHA regulations.
Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance deficiencies or unsafe conditions immediately.
Guest Relations: Handle guest requests professionally and record preferences to enhance our personalized service database.
Supportive Duties: Assist with laundry, turndown, or houseman tasks as business needs dictate.

Requirements:

Experience: 6 months to 1 year of cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate in English with guests and team members.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Availability: Must be able to work the Overnight Shift and varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
