Job Overview:
As a Program Effectiveness Analyst, you will monitor, analyze, and report on income assistance programs, assess program effectiveness, and develop or maintain information management systems. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise in SQL, Power BI, Python, and data visualization while supporting social policy decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor utilization and performance of income assistance programs.

• Analyze program interactions and assess overall effectiveness.

• Develop, maintain, and upgrade information management systems, processes, and tools.

• Extract and manipulate data from relational databases using SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel.

• Collaborate with teams to improve program monitoring and reporting.

• Apply statistical techniques and support evidence-based decision-making.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in IT, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL, Python, Excel (advanced), and BI tools like Power BI.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

• Knowledge of social policy, program evaluation, and social programs.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently in a professional, government environment.
