Core Responsibilities

  • Machine Stewardship: Monitor and adjust high-speed, complex production equipment to ensure peak efficiency and product quality.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical and pneumatic failures on the fly to minimize downtime.

  • Maintenance Support: Provide immediate maintenance interventions to operating production lines, working with a wide variety of raw materials.

  • Line Management: Responsible for the safety, production targets, and housekeeping standards of your assigned manufacturing line.

  • Data & Compliance: Use basic computer skills to track production metrics and ensure all products meet Irving’s strict quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or Trade Certification (currently enrolled students).

  • Technical Assets: Background or interest in Electronics, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or Machining is a significant advantage.

  • Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn highly automated, state-of-the-art systems quickly.

  • Soft Skills: Must remain logical and calm under pressure, demonstrate initiative as a self-starter, and interact professionally within a diverse team.

  • Physical/Logistical: Ability to handle the physical demands of 12-hour rotating shifts in a fast-paced industrial environment.
