Why this role is a great “local” fit
The postcode coverage (G11/G12 in the West End to G31/G32 in the East and G52 in the South) means you will be working in the heart of Glasgow’s most vibrant communities. The 10:00 AM start is particularly well-suited for those who prefer to miss the earliest peak of the morning rush while still finishing mid-afternoon.
Application Tip: Reliability is Key
For delivery roles, recruitment agencies prioritize dependability above all else.
-
Highlight Punctuality: If you have previous experience in roles requiring strict start times (logistics, retail, or hospitality), mention this.
-
Mention “All-Weather” Experience: If you’ve previously worked outdoors in the Scottish winter, emphasize that you are resilient and comfortable in those conditions.
-
Manual Driving Confidence: Since a manual licence is a strict requirement, confirm you are confident handling larger delivery vans in urban Glasgow traffic.
