Position: Plumbing and Electrical Sales Associate – Part-Time (Kanata) – The Home Depot Canada

Responsibilities:

Ensures Customer Satisfaction

• Follow Home Depot’s GET Model: Greet, Engage, and Thank customers

• Actively seek out customers and guide them to appropriate merchandise across departments

• Ask open-ended questions about projects to assess needs and expertise

• Promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services

Drives Sales

• Discuss options (good, better, best) and recommend related items/services outside the department

• Educate customers on the full scope of their projects

• Use empowerment programs to resolve customer issues as needed

• Maintain daily stock: ensure all products are signed, displayed, and clean

Builds Skills and Knowledge

• Maintain knowledge of all products in your department and adjacent areas

• Proactively seek learning opportunities about products and services

Maintains Safety and Security

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Adhere to Loss Prevention protocols
