Requirements and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum of one year of administrative experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office and EMR) are necessary.

Experience with basic office equipment including telephone, photocopier, and fax machine.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, providers, patients, and the public.

Ability to communicate and speak clearly and concisely; exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to exercise judgement, initiative, and possess problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast pace, multi-tasking environment is essential.

Must have a dedicated, confidential home office space and the ability to commute to the office if essential functions cannot be met remotely (e.g., power/internet loss).

About the Role
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new and established patients, from initial scheduling to the processing of complex insurance referrals. You are responsible for navigating clinic-specific guidelines, verifying insurance coverage, and inputting critical data into the Practice + system. Beyond administrative tasks, you act as a liaison between referring physicians and MEC specialists, ensuring all necessary medical information is available prior to appointments. While the work is primarily remote, you remain an integral part of the team, maintaining a high-energy pace to meet business goals and provide a seamless, supportive experience for every patient.
